Donald Joseph Qualls better known as DJ Qualls, his stage DJ Qualls, better known by his stage DJ Qualls was born in the United States. He is a producer, actor and model. After gaining fame through his roles as a character in Road Trip he has since appeared in over 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. He also has appeared on over 22 shows, such as Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. Qualls has survived Hodgkin's lymphoma. He was first diagnosed at the age of 14 old. The cancer had gone into remission after two years. His body was severely affected by treatment, and the development of his body was slow down. As he got older, financial security seemed to be his ultimate goal as his experience with poverty had been a part of his childhood. He said, "I've been living so cheap for so many years that I need financial security otherwise the world is going to feel chaotic for me." He also looks back at his own childhood and wants to address the problem of bullying. The fact that cruel acts break his heart. Both in real life and on film, DJ's character would like to play the role of a father. But he admits Directors don't choose me for those roles. It's great to be one day a parent himself, when the time comes when he can devote less time on career and spend more time with his children.
