The actress, who was once the cover model for Vogue magazine, lives today in Beverly Hills along with Samantha and Olivia. Ann Turkel, who was married with Richard Harris for eight years before he divorced her twenty years ago and is trying to come to terms with the loss of Richard Harris. Turkel is a native of New York. She was born in Manhattan and comes from a Jewish middle-class family, was a student at the Neighborhood Playhouse and American Musical and Dramatic Academy by the time she turned 16 years old. In Stockbridge, Massachusetts she also performed in the summer at the Berkshire Playhouse performing plays like The Pajama Game and West Side Story. Ann was discovered during her performance in the Vogue Magazine Fashion Show by Gloria Schiff. Diana Vreeland, the editor in chief of Vogue Magazine, requested Ann shoot her first Vogue magazine cover within a few days. Ann went on to become one of the most well-known models in America, appearing as a cover-model for the most prestigious magazines, such as Vogue Bazaar or Cosmopolitan. Ann was the first model to make her debut internationally in Europe and Japan as a model on behalf of Max Factor Revlon.
